Biography

Christine Vidal joined LE BAL when it was created in 2010. She is the brains behind the famous educational platform of LE BAL, La Fabrique du Regard. She also directs all the interdisciplinary policies of research and the programme of the cycles multidisciplinary events (meetings, debates, concerts, performances, cinema cycles, etc.) around the exhibitions. Alongside Diane Dufour, she co-directs the collection of Carnets du BAL in partnership with the École des hautes études en sciences sociales et le Centre national des arts plastiques.
She taught modern and contemporary art history at the école professionnelle supérieure des arts graphiques de ville de Paris, Ivry - ESPAA (from 2001 to 2007) and at the Paris-Dauphine University (from 2001 to 2008) parallel to setting up new educational approaches for the cultural services of Jeu de Paume (from 2001 to 2008).
