Biography

Jean Audouze is a French astrophysicist and distinguished research director at the National Scientific Research Center (CNRS).

Former student of the astrophysicist Hubert Reeves, with whom he published in 1971 an article on the nucleosynthesis. During his carrier, he has been director of the grande halle of la Villette (1993 to 1996) and of the Palais de la decouverte (1998 to 2004), and has worked at the creation of the ADEME. Author of several scientific books such as Conversations sur l'invisible (2002) and L'Univers (2000), he is invited as professor in the most prestigious universities in France and all around the world.
