Painter, draftsman and photographer 

Lives and works in Paris 
Illustrator from adolescence to the mid-90s, Nicolas Guilbert had his first exhibition in Paris in 1984 (Coco: paintings and drawings around a photo by Robert Doisneau, Attitude Gallery). For 25 years, he has had several opportunities to show the different facets of a very graphic work have always favored the line and the paper supports. 

Alongside his artistic journey, he leads photographic path that resulted in several publications in the Senso and Citizen K magazines, and the publication of a book (Singular, Alix Brijatoff and Richard Caillat, portraits of 35 personalities, Denoël, 2005).

His first solo photographic exhibition, Animals & Co, stands in the Museum of Photography Andre Villers de Mougins, from 12 June to 6 September 2009. This work will be the subject of an eponymous book, accompanied by a text of Cécile Guilbert in 2010. Animonuments was commissioned by the Museum of Nature and Hunting, which will result in two exhibitions and a book (always accompanied by a text by Cécile Guilbert), in Paris and at the Rencontres d'Arles in 2011.
