Born in Paris in 1962, Odile Bernard Schröder ceased working as professional photographer in 1995 and turned herself exclusively on her research. Beyond her photographic work, the artist elaborates paintings on sensitive surfaces such as photographic paper.
Paradoxically, working in the half-light of the camera obscura, it's experimentation on light and luminous interferences. Using tools made by herself, Odile Bernard Schröder develops the techniques of cyanotype and cliché-verre. Odile Bernard Schröder lives and works in Paris.
