Biography

Artist, painter, graphic designer, Swiss and French, Roger Pfund lives and works in Geneva where he directed a visual communication atelier since 1971. As a graphic designer, Roger Pfund developed activities in all domains of visual communication. He also works in various domains like culture, humanitarian sector, finance and industry.

He specialises in the creation and designing of banknotes since a number of years. Since 1971, he has been a part of the creation of Swiss notes and is the creator of the last series of French banknotes. In 1996 he was awarded the first prize by the International Jury of the European Monetary Institute  in the contest EURO. He was called upon by a number of countries as a counsellor et creator of new notes.
