Sidy Mohamed Kandji (Senegalese artist)

Sidy Mohamed Kandji is an independent Senegalese artist based in Dakar and has been taking photographs since 2008. He has contributed, in particular, to the collective exhibition project including “Piéton de Dakar” and to publications such as “Chronique d’une révolte” and “Musique sénégalaise”. 

He has assisted several artists simultaneously as photographer and art director, notably musicians, painters and fashion designers with developing their image and brand. His work has been exhibited several times on the VSCO platform. He recently opened his own studio in Dakar, a creative centre for sponsoring young artists.
