Biography

Véronique Vercheval began her career as a photojournalist for Voyelles magazine. Engaged in a documentary and sociological type of photography, she conducted long-term surveys of the documentary and sociological type, particularly for the projects of the Archives de Wallonie. She photographed ironmongers, glassmakers, miners, nurses and doctors, farmers, road hauliers ... We also know her reports in occupied Palestine.
Each time, Veronique is totally involved in what she undertakes, her eyes leading her to privilege the social point of view and the human side of things.
She teaches photography in social promotion at the Institute of Arts and Crafts of La Louvière.
