Biographie

Trained in art history and ancient history, Julie Chevaillier, for 5 years directed the castle of Champlitte in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, where she is from, before taking the direction of the Mandet museum and the regional museum of 'Auvergne in Riom on October 1st.

The museum's closure period has made it possible to establish a lasting footing in the territory by building ambitious projects for and with the inhabitants. Land of contrasts and poetry, the Massif Central has a strong identity that allows it to shine and offer, thanks to the plurality of its facilities and its players, quality and unifying projects. Thus, the temporary exhibition, presented at the Mandet Museum, Gaïa with the guest artist Julien Salaud, pays homage to this territory and forges links with all living forces for years to come.
