Biography

After obtaining an MBA in art market and a specialization in modern and contemporary photography, Marine Bougaran multiplies her professional experiences. In 2009, she joins the team of the contemporary art fair Show Off and then she joins the Beirut Art Fair from 2010 to 2018 as project manager and specialist in contemporary photography. She also contributes to the creation of the Singapore Art Fair in 2014. Since then, her expertise in the field of photography has expanded and she has played a key role in the development of events dedicated to this medium in Lebanon, such as the Byblos Bank Award. In 2018, she is the artistic director of the “Across Boundaries” exhibition dedicated to Lebanese photography through private collections. In 2019, she created the Soura association to promote Lebanese photography and creation in all its forms.
