Biographie

Elisabeth COUTURIER is a journalist and art critic. She collaborates regularly with the magazines Art Press, L’œil, Historia, and Paris Match, and directs The Guide collection, editions Flammarion, for which she wrote the best-sellers Contemporary Art and Contemporary Photography. She has produced several programs for France Culture, notably the weekly Les mardis de l’expo (expo Tuesdays). She is the author of the film collection Les petits secrets des grands tableaux (little secrets of great works) currently broadcast on ARTE. General Secretary of the International Association of Art Critics and exhibition commissioner, she regularly gives conferences concerning art history and the principal artistic movements.
