Biographie
After studying at the School of Visual Arts in NYC / USA, JF Camp became photographer for the Department of Environment in Tehran, where he settled and opened a photo laboratory in 1975. In the same time, he took part of the production of 10 films (60 min each) about Iran for Antenne 2 TV. From 1979 to 1981, he covered the Islamic revolution who strikes Iran. Back in France, he was sales manager of Publiphoto laboratory in Paris. After 5 years, he decided to create the laboratory DUPON Bastille.??
From the 2000s, he created the Planète Albert Kahn award and supports many initiatives dedicated to the photography.
Today, the merger of Central Color and Dupon creates a image center: Central Dupon Images is a privileged partner of the largest cultural events and festivals photography in France and abroad, institutions and museums. His center develops a program of photo exhibitions and meetings with the public.
