Cette photographie a été prise à l'été 2019 lors d'un voyage à Zanzibar. Je m'étais glissée dans la file d'attente pour la visite du Palais des sultans,. L'attente était si longue que j'hésitais à repartir lorsque mes yeux se posèrent sur cette femme à l'entrée. Immobile, impassible, le regard au dehors, qu'attendait-elle ? En intégrant le reflet de la file dans le miroir, j'ai voulu réunir ces deux attentes, ces deux réalités qui m'ont pénétrée ce jour-là.
