Biographie

An extreme sports enthusiast since childhood, Steve Stievenart is now a professional open water swimmer. In August 2020, he became the first French to complete the double crossing of the Channel by swimming with, as only equipment, a swimsuit, a cap and a pair of glasses! He is currently preparing for a new challenge: the crossing in the icy waters of Lake Baikal in Russia in July 2021.

Beyond his sporting exploits, Steve is also a man committed to the environment. With his Stop Plastic Pollution foundation, he works to alert the world to plastic pollution, raise awareness of its consequences and find solutions to prevent it.

Steve is finally passionate about the artistic: a visual artist in his spare time, photography also occupies a special place in his life. Son of a photographer father, Steve started his professional career as a photo reporter for 15 years!

Hellio is the official partner of Steve for his actions in favor of ecology, his sporting achievements and the missions of his Stop Plastic Pollution foundation, particularly in schools.
