"Discovering the world - a matter of self-portraits" is a series that investigates the urge we have developed, in our society, to take self-portraits (taken by ourselves as a selfie or by a friend or even by an unknown character) when we discover a new place, a new landscape or a new landmark. This matter is quite important because it became more important to have self-portraits with the monument or the landscape in the back than to see them through our own eyes. Through this self-portrait mania we become monument or landscape consumers as if we ate a cake or candies with this feeling of never been satiated.
