La station Caumartin est ouverte le 19 octobre 1904, avec la mise en service d'un premier tronçon de la ligne 3 entre les stations Avenue de Villiers (aujourd'hui Villiers) et Père Lachaise. Elle prend son nom actuel en 1926. Quais de la ligne 3. En 2011, 8 343 415 voyageurs sont entrés à cette station.
