Biography
Born 1973 in Örebro, Sweden. Today based between Stockholm and Paris. In his early twenties Anton was a musician performing on tills and video clips, also walking runways to pay his bills. Today Anton is working since 15 years as a professional photographer himself. Also being the father of three kids.It's not easy to pigeonhole Anton as his work transcends typical classifications with ease. Whether it´s a personal project, a fashion editorial or a commercial campaign, his own way of approaching his work and his distinctive sense of the moment and rhythm, always comes through.
I grew up in Örebro, a small town on the flatland of Sweden. My parents were both hard working people, but very different from eachother. My mum was all about ballet and horses, allwas talking about movement and grace, while my dad reached for his guitar and some good time, whenever the chance was there. I guess I became a mix of all that.
My life has pretty much been a rollercoaster but with necessary stops for reflection and personal work: In my early twenties it was all about recording and touring with bands, travelling with my boards, walking down runways to pay my bills, writing and shooting small stories from various scenes of the world, being behind the camera, being in front of the camera, general studies, studies in photography – always a little bit of “everything”.
Today 2015 I´m a father of three wonderful kids. And for the past fifteen years I´ve had the opportunity to work as a photographer.
