Biography
Jordan Bolton is a photographic poster artist from Manchester, England. Made by recreating objects or rooms, his film posters serve as a kind of alternative viewing experience of a film, by representing it only through its colours and themes, rather than its plot or actors.
The Wes Anderson posters, part of his 'Objects series' were made by meticulously watching the films in slow motion and on repeat, sometimes spending over 20 hours watching the film in order to capture every tiny background detail. This process leads to the recreation of around 100 objects, which are then arranged according the theme of the film against a single colour background, with each object relating the objects around it on the poster, meaning each poster works as an object driven walkthrough the film.
