Born in 1974 in Nantes, France.
Lives and works in Clisson, France.
Training:
2013: Graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels with a master's degree in visual arts / photography. Great distinction.
2008: Graduated from Agnès Varda school in Brussels / photography. Great distinction.
Prizes and scholarships:
2013: Artist selected for the Hamesse Prize, Belgium.
2012: Horlait Dapsens Foundation Prize, Belgium.
2011: Roger De Conynck Prize, King Baudoin Foundation, Belgium.
It was selected in the “Readers' Favorites” during the QPN festival portfolios readings in 2019.
Ludovic Jaunatre seems to be pursuing a quest which leads him, series after series, to attempt to approach the relations between human nature and nature itself. Portrait and landscape are omnipresent in his work, always combined more or less, always responding to each other in the continuity of a silent enigma and a strange kinship. (…)
