Biographie

Adept black and white, Sylvain Lagarde has been awarded several times and his photographic work have been exposed - among others - the Salon de la Photo in Paris, on the grids of the Jardin des Plantes or in various galleries. His portfolios have been published by many specialized magazines. On the professional level, he is an associate of letters and teacher of French at Monteil high school in Rodez. Such a course destined him to succeed Jean Cazelles, the founder and historical president of Photofolies. Since 2015, Sylvain Lagarde has thus left a little aside shooting for taking responsibility for a festival which he assumes the demand for excellence.
