A part of Enjoy Series The ambition aims to approach street photography from a new and unique perspective by using a dynamic sense of contrast and bright highlights to reveal and conceal different aspects of each image. The use of vibrant colors and negative space encourages the audience to focus on the intricate formal relationships taking place within the imagery. Some long exposures are used for transforming the reality. In this way, some familiar scenes move on to more abstract compositions that consist of lines, shapes, and colors. In others, the images challenge the way the audience traditionally views the human form. The project is poetic and sentimental and expresses the desire to unveil the ephemeral nature of the human existence. The meaning behind the aesthetic of this series of photographs is the fundamental question: what am I looking for in order to feel at peace and to enjoy the existence?
