Imagine the future, create your own currency !

From June 23rd to September 1st, Wipplay and CashEssentials invite you to take part in the IMAGINE CURRENCY photo contest. The operation aims to illustrate the human and solidarity dimension of money. The goal is to reclaim this medium of interaction and exchange.

This unique theme invites you to create photo-montage to imagine a new currency, with pictures, decoration, name of the currency and associated value… If you are a graphic designer at heart, we encourage you to create your personalized photo-montages and share them directly on the online contest page.
For those who are less experienced, we’ll walk you through this creative process by providing you with a few templates that you can be easily customized on classic editing sites like Canva, Photoshop, Paint. Here are 3 simple steps to follow.

★ Step 1 : Download template ★

The first thing to do is to download one of the templates at your disposal: the 5€  ; the 10€ ; the 20€ ; the 50€ ; the 100€.
You just have to click on one of these links and then download the template on your computer with a « save as » right click. They are transparent .png files that will allow you to easily integrate your photos.

Once you’ve downloaded the templates (Feel free to try them all!), you’ll have to choose a visual that will echo the meaning of  your final banknote. Fighting against animal abandonment, environmental protection, gender equality… All convictions are welcome, as long as they envision a better future (collective or individual). In addition to the visual, you will have to think of a sentence that will complete your proposal.

★ Step 2 : Edit your templates ★

To customize these templates, you don’t need to have any special graphic skills. We simply encourage you to use to the Canva site (or any other free editing sites) to proceed with the design of your new bill.

When you get to Canva.com,  you need to choose a document size. Select « Custom Size » and fill in: either 2000 x 1000 px or 2000 x 1200 px (depending on the size of the chosen template).
