From 26 September, the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac will be hosting an exhibition highlighting the history of Indian cinema. With over 2,000 films produced every year, the Indian film industry is the most prolific in the world! "Bolllywood Superstars" retraces a century of Indian cinema history, from the silent films of the 1920s to the star system that has made Indian actors and actresses veritable gods of the silver screen. To mark the occasion, our album of the week pays tribute to the culture of the world's most populous country.
