Polar Express
One Planet - Polar Summit, the first international summit devoted to glaciers and the poles, will be held in Paris this week, on 8 and 9 November. Bringing together the scientific community as well as experts from the IPCC and IPBES, heads of institutions, NGOs and representatives of indigenous peoples, the summit aims to share findings and observations on climate change and global warming. Its objective is crucial: to find and develop sustainable solutions to the collapse of the cryosphere which, on a global scale, "may have effects on populations, ecosystems as a whole, water resources, rising sea levels...". To mark the occasion, Wipplay is devoting this week's album to the polar world.
