To mark the anniversary of the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e, Wipplay is teaming up with the Fetart collective to bring you a competition based around the number 10. UN (DIX) DANS L'IMAGE highlights the presence and representation of the number 10 in photographs. Whether explicitly or subtly, the challenge is to capture images in which the number 10 is highlighted. This can take different forms, such as a football shirt with the number 10, the presence of 10 people in a photo or the repetition of 10 identical elements in the image. The aim of the competition is to spark participants' imaginations and allow them to explore the many ways in which the number 10 can be incorporated into their photographic compositions. 10th edition, 10th arrondissement, for a programme that will take place in the 10th month of the year... The number shines brightly in 2023. Let it shine in your turn!
The competition is organised in partnership with Fetart, a collective that has been promoting and promoting emerging European photography through exhibitions and events for over 15 years. The winners, selected by a jury made up of representatives from Wipplay, the Fetart collective and the Mairie du 10e arrondissement de Paris, will have their images projected during the opening of the festival on 28 September.
