During a visit to the Etna side. I took this classic touring photo with a quasi-museum piece taken with my first digital camera an OLYMPUS C900Z. At the time the data from this device was spectacular: 1 Megapixel and maximum resolution 1280 x 960c…It was in the last century in 1999. 25 years already!!! I had my "vintage" photo, but this image lacked the surreal and absurd side. I don't know why, these words made me think of Dali's portrait made by Philippe Halsamann. We are in the absurd so I added this chair partly buried in the ashes. Note that Etna actually smoked and sent volcanic bombs very high, which prevented a better approach to the crater.
