Ludovic Viévard has been practicing street photography since 2023. For him, it’s a way to immerse himself in the present moment and in the energy of the city. Street photography is a particular form of attention to the world: it’s about capturing mostly candid everyday scenes and turning them into images that lie somewhere between artistic creation and documentary work. The camera and flash disrupt our usual ways of encountering strangers. A different kind of connection is established — a brief, unexpected pause that depends on what both the passerby and the photographer bring to it.
