Biography

Based in Marseille, in love with the Mediterranean and the countries around it, I am attracted like a magnet by the closed worlds, the prohibitions and the hummus. I am above all a photoreporter who likes to integrate communities to tell them from the inside. The stronger the cliché about a group, the more I want to work on it, to make images that deconstruct or confirm social labels. I worked on young activists of the National Front, on a look-alike of Elvis Presley, on the Emergencies of Créteil, on the headquarters of the United Nations, on the Fine Arts of Paris, on a police station in the Paris region and on poor housing in Marseille. In my personal projects, the essential notion is time. All the beautiful things in this world need time to unfold fully: cooking, hiking, making love and reporting.
