Biography
First drawn to the movies, I discovered my love for photography through the schools and internships. Solitary work and the possibility of mastering my work all by myself corresponds better with my personality.
After a technology, I chose to start my career by assisting - first, 2 years with ENS and since then between the studio J’Adore ce que vous faîtes ! and independant photographers : Frédéric Stucin, Jérôme Galland...
On a daily basis, I collaborate with Julien Mignot at the studio J’Adore. Following up with the production, editing, managing the studio, assisting during the shoot, retouching, but just as much as a photographer.During my time as an assistant, I learnt lots of things : using and understanding the equipment, understanding light, workflows, rapport with the clients as well as with the subjects... it’s a compilation of my experiences that define me as a photographer.
I am now juggle between assisting and producing my own work, while developing my own clients.
The latter include Porter&Sail (city guide), la Philharmonie de Paris, WeLoveGreen, Thélios, Fauchhon, UGC, Omnivore, l'Express...Their demands are varied : portrait, still life, documentary, architecture, interior decoration. Such a diversity works well for me since I don’t want to dedicate myself to one genre of photography.
In the end, I take the time to have my personal work to experiment with the different styles as well as to understand what makes me happy. It’s also a way of finding my own style.
