Biography

Cultural Attachée at the French Embassy in Lebanon since 2018, Bénédicte Vigner has had a long career in the performing arts in France and more particularly in Bretagne. With her brother, the director Eric Vigner, she founded the Suzanne M. company and has worked with many contemporary authors (Dubillard, Duras, de Vos, Honoré, Cadiot...). For more than twenty years, they directed the national dramatic center of Lorient and imagined a cultural policy on this territory. Always internationally oriented, they have developed many co-productions but also the festival De Lorient à l’Orient and the International Academy of Theater.
