Biographie

Chloé Vollmer-Lo begins photography as a teenager, compulsively photographing her friends and their lives. From 2008, she studies theatre theory, while starting to work as a professional photographer. She concludes this period by writing two masters theses about the relation between theatre and photography, through staged pictures first, and then through the concept of testimony and collective trauma. She then takes comissions for press, corporate work and even individuals. She creates several personal series, including two asking her loved ones and people she didn’t know before to confide in her: Délugeis a catalogue of each one’smoral flaws, Souvenirs de Paris aims at mapping the city with brief and intimate biographies.
