Biography

   
[justify]Choi (Choi Chung Chun) was born in Hong Kong in 1949. He is an artist and a specialist in large format photo printing. At the age of 11 he made his first prints with his uncle. He went to Paris in 1965 and studied painting. He met Raymond Faverie in 1968 and worked with him in his laboratory PubliPhoto until 1980. [/justify]

[justify]In 1998 he founded the Cyclope photo laboratory. He became one of the most well known photo printers and collaborated with famous international artists. In 2007 he exhibited a series of photographs called Autoportraits aux Enfers at La Maison Européenne de la Photographie. In 2008-2009, he was invited by Alain Fleisher to work at as an artist and a professor the National Contemporary Art Studio, Le Fresnoy. [/justify]

[justify]In 2010 he created his own studio, Atelier Choi. He had another exhibition in 2012 at La Maison Européenne de la Photographie.[/justify]
