Biography
Vice-President in charge of culture, Terre d'Emeraude Community
I am retired from teaching and I have always been involved in communal and inter-communal life for a very long time.
Since March 2001, I have been the mayor of Charchilla (Jura, 39) and elected as Vice-President in charge of communication and culture at the former community of communes Jura Sud; since 2020 I am Vice-President for culture at Terre d'Emeraude Communauté.
I have been the elected official in charge of the toy museum since 2014 and since 2020 I have also been in charge of the network of media libraries, the associative music schools, the Vache Qui Rue (a place for the creation of street shows) and cultural events (associations) in Terre d'Emeraude Communauté.
In 2002, the Toy Museum was awarded the title of "Musée de France". In this sense, it offers a permanent collection made up of goods whose conservation and presentation are of public interest and organised with a view to the knowledge, education and pleasure of the public.
A new dynamic has been launched: temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, an audiovisual room, etc. contribute to its influence.
