Biography
After studying Modern Literature Studies (Memory object : Le sens d’un miroir Antonin Artaud and Vincent Van Gogh), Coralie Gauthier became a stylist for french TV programs. At the same time she studied at the IFM. In 2000, she joins the brand Yohji Yamamoto and soon becomes the director of communication of the brand.
She worked for 13 years next to the Fashion Designer in charge of his image in his press and cultural activities (exhibitions, publications, national events).
She was also the fashion designer of Christophe Honoré’s last plays : Angelo, Tyrant of Padua and New Roman, and Worked with numbers of movie’s, music and art’s personalities.
She was aussi co-curator of the Yohji Yamamoto exhibition at the Design Museum Holon in Israel. She joined the team of the parisian cultural Club Silencio since the opening in 2011, in charges Press Relations AND visual arts programming. She runs the program every friday at Wanderlust. She is also professor at the IFM and at Head.
She led the monography of Mathieu Lehanneur Editions and has just launched anthology on the Yohji Yamamoto at Rizzoli NY.
