Biography
Dante Apaza, born on May 22, 1969, is a passionate nature photographer.
His passion for nature photography has taken him all over Argentina, from the north of the country to the Falkland Islands, exploring places such as the Galapagos, the Pantanal (Brazil), Alaska, the Everglades (FL-USA), Torres del Paine (Chile), Uganda, Egypt and Turkey, among other destinations, in search of species and landscapes. He specializes in various techniques for capturing nature photographs (photographic camera, hidrohide, acecho, high-speed, etc.).
He has collaborated on publications for the dissemination and conservation of nature, as well as on various articles of scientific disclosure.
Some of his mammal and landscape photos have been selected by National Geographics in Spanish. He has won prizes in various nature photography competitions.
His photos were included in the exhibition "Salta Argentina: Su legado Andino y un paseo en tren a las nubes" presented in Paris, France, and Madrid, Spain.
