Biographie
After working several years in the world of photography (photographic agencies, archives of photographers, editors), Emmanuelle Fructus created in 2006 a book - and a gallery dedicated to anonymous photography and artists' books.
Her work besides in the collection of anonymous images and amateur's pictures. According to her, photographies that hold the most attention today are the ones called "poor" images : the ones that are not necessarily the "curiosities"or small masterpieces, but, on the contrary, simple images. In Parallel to this research, she is also interested in artists who use these archives.
