Biographie

Hanna Ladoul and Marco La Via directed their first film THE FEMALE FACE OF POPULISM while they were still in school studying journalism. The documentary film received critical acclaim when it aired on French TV in 2012. Hanna and Marco continued their education at the School for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences in Paris before moving to Los Angeles in 2013.
In 2015, they directed their first narrative short film DIANE FROM THE MOON, starring Mya Taylor, previously revealed in Sean Baker’s TANGERINE. The short film had a successful international festival run.
In 2017, Hanna and Marco directed their first feature film WE THE COYOTES (stills below), produced by Raphael Gindre. The film premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival as part of the ACID selection. It has had a widespread theatrical release in France and was released digitally in the US on Showtime.
