Biography

Architect graduated since 1984 and working in Auvergne but also in the Paris region and in the Alpes Maritimes, Jean-Louis Coutarel obtained in 2010 the Regional Auvergne Wood Architecture Prize. He is also a lecturer at the Ecola Nationale Superieure d'Architecture in Clermont-Ferrand. There he teaches the theory and practice of architectural and urban design, as well as sciences and techniques for architecture. He stands out for his commitment to this school, as he is a member of the board of directors as well as of the commission for education and research. His expertise, both in education and in architecture and regional planning, involve him during his career in numerous animation, administration and advisory missions relating to projects linked to the Massif Central. . He is also a founding member of the association "Habiter Otherwise" Auvergne, but also President of the Regional Conservatory of Habitat and Landscapes Auvergne and secretary of the Spaces and Urbanism commission of the Massif committee.
