Julie Poncet is a self-taught photographer specializing in creative staging. After 5 years in Morocco as an agronomic engineer, she took up photography in 2010 and has devoted herself to the art full time since 2013.
Her artistic journey rests on the Narrative Art through which she creates worlds and characters that tell stories. In every series, and in every picture in it, she invites the observer to gather the details she offers in order to develop a unique story. She is inspired by photographers (E. Olaf, Mac Adams) and by directors (A. Hitchcock and Wong Kar Wai).
She recently placed second in the Picto Fashion Awards of 2016.
