I wouldn’t have met Hussein had it not been for the fact that I took a wrong turn and ended up in the street parallel to where I was supposed to park. He gave me a cheeky grin as I walked past, and I asked if I could take his picture. I was genuinely intrigued by his perfectly gelled hair, his regal pose and his apparent confidence, despite his tender age. Needless to say, my request was not turned down. Every time I walk down this Mar Mikhael street, I look for him.
