Malu Médina, a community leader from Comuna 13 in Medellin, works for peace using art and expression as a means of sharing and exchange between communities and individuals. The majority of the people she accompanies are "street children", single children who have fallen into drug trafficking, prostitution and other petty theft. Comuna 13 is known for its infamous history, but also for its revival around tourism and urban art, which is giving rise to new problems such as prostitution, as this comuna is becoming attractive and "hyper" touristy, and there has been no urban and tourist planning to regulate traffic and economic exchanges.
