Biography

Just like the roots of the old trees that he adores, Vincent’s roots can be found in the soil of the ancient mountainous Vosges, worn out by water, snow and wind.
“I was lucky to grow up in an area where nature reveals the beauty of it’s whimsical seasons, and to discover these landscapes with my father, who taught me to respect the quietness of the wilderness while introducing me to photography.”
His destination was determined. To dedicate himself totally to a mysterious and fragile nature, and to share his experiences and emotions.
Vincent’s photographs are an invitation to discover those special moments, captured near his home or during his recent travels. Temperate forests, boreal atmospheres and mountains near and far. The aspiration remains the same: approaching the animal in the midst of its elements and trying to touch the essence of life.

Vincent Munier is have been a three-time a recipient of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award. Erik Hosking Award.
We can see his pictures in magazins and galleries in several countries of the World.
