Biography

Lives and work in Paris.
Born in 1978, Yannick Labrousse took photographs from early age. He improved his eye and learned the trade from his photographer father then during a three-year training course at ETPA_Toulouse. He practiced as a laboratory assistant in Paris in the early 2000s. and produced his first photo-reports in Paris in 2002. Since he explores the notions of perspective, space, interiority and body thought a personal treatment of the portrait, the decoration and the landscape. Yannick Labrousse was a founding member of the TempsMachine collective.
