"I like the narrative side in photography and the Opéra Comique was the ideal place to tell something sensitive and poetic, in particular because of its history, its interior architecture, the decorations and ornamentations that inhabit it." The writing that is dear to me then appears in the series that I named “La Dame Blanche rêve en silence”. The title takes up two comic operas: La Dame Blanche by François-Adrien Boieldieu and Rêve by Alfred Bruneau. This photographic series deals through the different stagings with questions revolving around madness and precisely this ambiguity between dream and reality. The state of confusion extends thanks to the mystical, spiritual and almost theological environment. Madness is one of the themes that I usually borrow and explore (as with my Hysteria photography series produced in 2022). In the center of the female characters always animate this subject. On the other hand, the closed places reinforce here the strange feeling of being locked up in a body, in a cerebral space no longer distinguishing the limits of the true, the false, the past, the present or the future. As if stuck in uncertainty.
