During his third year of universitary studies back in Havana, he got his first digital camera of 5 megapixels Optimus. Since then, photography became more than a hobby, a space of his life where to let the imagination flow and alter the perspective of the photographed object, exploiting the symmetries and making it look totally or partially different from what the eyes see after removing the lens. Always focused to get a better frame, better symmetry and balance.
Amateur photographer, mostly focused on Abstracts, Design and Architecture, although he always explores in other photographic styles like Food Photography, Still Nature, People, etc. Influenced mainly by the works of surrealist photographers as Manu Pombol and Erik Johansson. He turned more into photography while attending the expositions of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Mapplethorpe, Walker Evans, Eugène Atget and Nick Brandt. He also admires the works of Roberto Chile and Alberto Díaz Gutiérrez (Korda), both cuban photographers.
He won the Coups de Coeur Price in the photography contest "MA VIE DES HALLES" and 3rd place in the contests "VITRAIL" and "ANIMAUX", both held in Paris .
