Created in 2012, the Rencontres Photographiques de Guyane festival aims to give Guyanese photographers a place in the cultural landscape by enabling them to exhibit their work. The only photographic festival organised in French overseas departments, the Rencontres Photographiques de Guyane offers new avenues for discussion around the image, photographic processes, new methods... For this 8th edition of the festival, Wipplay is joining forces with the Rencontres Photographiques de Guyane to showcase the unique landscapes of French Guiana and all the French overseas territories. Volcanoes, beaches, forests, seabeds, take us on a journey through these lands at the ends of the earth!
