Peripheries

From June 28 to August 9 2023
The periphery echoes a banality that we see without necessarily looking at. It's a world that's sometimes invisible, yet everyday, outside city centers, from the suburbs to the countryside. Through this competition, show us that life also teems outside urban centers, and that beauty can be found wherever we look.
This competition is organized in collaboration with Atelier EXB to mark the release of Erased, a book that retraces photographer Bertrand Meunier's work on China's economic transformation in the 2000s. His long-term work earned him the Oskar Barnack Prize in 2001 and the Niepce Prize in 2007. The three jury prize-winners will have the pleasure of receiving the book in question. Now, get out your cameras and explore the margins!
