Frédérique Lurol is the director of Château de Monte-Cristo, Alexandre Dumas' home in Le Port-Marly, Yvelines.

The writer's incredible novel life, his works and his romantic estate, built according to his own wishes, have fascinated her for thirty years.

In charge of events, exhibitions and communications, among other things, she works every day to ensure that the site is as lively as its first owner. Her aim is to preserve this unique and unusual heritage site, to bring it to life, to enable visitors to discover it and to pass it on to future generations.
