At the end of his higher studies (ESC Brest), Gérard Pont worked first as the director of the Dialogues bookshop in Brest. In 1979, in parallel to this, he created the Elixir rock festival in Brittany, which was moved a few years later to Athens (Rock in Athens 1985, with The Clash, Depeche Mode, Telephone, The Cure, etc.). He then worked as a journalist and host on the tv channel France 3, then as a communications manager for the Relais H network. In 1992, he joined Gérard Lacroix and together they founded Morgane, a company that is rapidly expanding in television production and show production. Today Gérard Pont heads the Morgane group. He is also president of the Francofolies de la Rochelle and Printemps de Bourges.
