Biographie
After working as a photojournalist over two decades, Michael turned to fine art photography in the 90th. It resulted in L.A. Drive-By - a series of photographs showing Los Angeles shot from the a car. In the late 2000s Michaels focus shifted to extended landscape projects, assignments came to a halt. WALD, a series about the German forest with major shows in Germany and abroad was followed in 2105 by FLUSS (depicting the largest European river Rhine). The current series BERG (the Alps) is a work in progress and will be published in 2019.
