Biography

Philippe Gassmann, grandson of Picto laboratories founder Pierre Gassmann, trained as an engineer and has an MBA in economics from HEC. He joined the company in 1990, holding successive management positions at the laboratory's various sites. He joined the general management team, where he headed up the sales department before becoming the company's Chief Executive Officer in 2006. He has been Chairman and CEO of the Picto Group since 2017. Among other things, Philippe Gassmann was responsible for developing the group's digital activities with the creation of Picto Online and the Press and Digital Media department, its international expansion with the opening of offices in New York, Milan and Vietnam, obtaining the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label and creating the Picto Foundation endowment fund.
